Wednesday was a long but without a doubt very good day for Kronomy. At the TechCrunch50 in San Francisco, the team presented the idea, use and fun of Kronomy for an entire day to bloggers, VCs and other companies. It was an exciting experience, especially since the feedback on our cool 3D timelines was overwhelmingly positive.

Kronomy was invited to present at the TechCrunch50 held in San Francisco this upcoming week and will introduce its powerful online software to the conference visitors on Wednesday, Sept. 10.
About TechCrunch50:
“The TechCrunch50 agenda is simple: we put on stage the 50 best companies we can find to launch new products over a three-day format, September 8-10, 2008. The selection process is based on merit alone to help ensure we showcase the best ideas …”
…and Kronomy was chosen as one of them!

On Thursday, Kronomy was one of 12 start-ups to be invited to the SVB - Forum. Even though there was a lot of competition, Michael was able to win over the audience’s interest and highly impressed it with his live presentation of Kronomy.

Michael, CEO and co-founder of Kronomy, participated in an elevator pitch competition held by Taskforce on Wednesday and received the highest points of the VC panel in the category A-series. Especially highly rewarded were the technical features and functionality of the website, as well as the new and creative business model to monetize the idea of Kronomy.

Fight for your favorite presidential candidate
The upcoming U.S. presidential election will be one of the most defining moments in recent history- and we want to do our part in getting people to support their beliefs, interests and their favorite presidential candidate. This is why we have created informative 3D timelines of each candidate’s life so that people can learn about who Obama and McCain were in the past, what they did, where they have been and how they became the person they are today. Supporters will be able to gain insight into each candidate’s personal beliefs, speeches and actions - and keep up with the latest news on the campaign trail.
Kronomy has created three sites:
- www.usbattle.com - a battleground for the two main candidates, showing current stats of who is leading the race

- www.fight4obama.com – a site with tools to support Barack Obama online, a comment section, fun facts about the candidate and of course his informative 3D timeline

- www.fight4mccain – a site for John McCain, which is providing the same tools and features as Obama’s site

Summed up, these sites provide a fun way for people to:
- Learn more about the main presidential candidates
- Tally support for each candidate online in 2 different ways:
1. by embedding Obama or McCain’s timeline to websites, blogs and online
community profiles
2. by taking a fun picture with the preferred candidate with Kronomy’s cool photo tool and then sending it to friends and family
- Tell friends about why they are supporting Obama or McCain
- Spread the word to get their candidate into the White House!
The U.S. Battle has also made it to MySpace and has already gathered over 200 friends in three days!
Check it out: www.myspace.com/fight4yourcandidate and join the fight today!

The fascination for Bollywood in but also outside of India is undeniable. On my latest flight from Europe to the U.S. operated by Lufthansa about six Bollywood movies were offered next to a selection of 10 mainstream Hollywood movies, I realized that there was a need to create a landing page with the most amazing 3D timelines of Bollywood’s hottest stars, geared towards the fans of this Indian movie market. And so we did!

Kronomy launches its new Landing Page for Mommies and Daddies
A child’s birth, its first smile and first steps are something wonderful that parents want to capture for life. This is why we created a landing page especially targeted towards new moms and dads, who are looking for an easy and fun way to organize, store and share memories with family and friends. Whether it is photos and videos of the baby’s first teeth, its first birthday party or a school theater performance- share them with everyone and keep for a lifetime!

Hi Everyone,
As we embark on the first wave of beta testing, we wanted to thank all of our investors, families, friends and supporters for helping us make this far. From Austria to Valley, it has been quite an emotional journey for me and the team - to see the product go from paper to being "live". As we continue on this journey, I hope you will join us and help us grow.
As we are working with our beta users right now, we thought this video would show how users can easily add an event to their Kronomy timeline.
And as always, please send us your feedback!
Thanks,
Michael
